DEGROOR MEDICAL ORGANSIATIONS (DMO) in partnership with UNICEF in coordination with the South West Ministry of Health (MOH) conducted a three days training program for Mobile clinic and MCH staff on AWD/Cholera Case Management and Integrated Managements of Child hood illness training (IMCI) in Baidoa.for 15 Participants who works as out- Reach Health Mobile clinics and Facility base to the community level.
- Assess, classify and treat sick children accurately following the IMCI case management guidelines.
- Administer pre-referral treatment correctly and refer seriously ill children.
- Counsel caretakers about home care including how to give treatment,
- Reduce childhood mortality and morbidity by improving family and community practices for the home management of illness,
- Improving case management skills of health workers in the wider health system.
