DMO is remained operational and continued to deliver integrated nutrition/health services in Garsaley/Boodaan IDP site. At currently DMO is operating 8 OTP sites (one is fixed site), which is integrated mostly as well as 9 TSFP/BSFP sites (4 host communities and 5 IDP mobile sites), those are allocated in all locations. for the period of this week (21st -27th March 2019), DMO OTP staff in Garsaley/Boodaan integrated health/nutrition site screened for a total of 23 new under five children 9 boys and 14 girls, out of them 12 were normal cases, while 7 were moderate malnourished cases and 4 cases were severely malnourished cases and admitted as new admission, while 51 old cases also screened.Mean while 7 children were referred to TSFP those are moderately malnourished cases, while 12 referred BSFP. A total of 55 care givers were provided two sessions on IYCF /NHHP during this week, in order to enhance positive behavior change on health seeking behavior, good hygiene and sanitation and improved infant and young child feeding practices. A s the sessions focused on IYCF related problems at household level, barriers of IYCF promotion and possible solutions.
