1.1: Introduction.
DMO is providing integrated Health and Nutrition service to the internally displaced persons and the host community in Baidoa town. DMO is committed to bringing together the best national professionals who are capable to providing a host of organizational capacity development services, including on-the job trainings, consultancy, and technical assistance suitable to the Somali environment – at lower cost. included to the budget different training including (ADW/Cholera case management and communications Prevention Response} this training was second Refresher trainings for this quarter, the objective was to equip the ORP/CHWs staff how to spread the AWD and cholera, prevention and Treatments for AWD/cholera so that they have knowledge and well equipped to serve the needy community in terms of ADW/cholera suspected cases and how best way they can transfer the cases to the health facility, community mobilization.
The AWD/cholera case management training was held at DMO training 18 DMO ORPs/CNWs was participated.
1.2. Participants’ orientation and course introduction.
The training started with welcoming and introductions lead by the DMO executive director and explained after brief interdiction, the executive encourage all the participants to gain knowledge and adopt to this knowledge to assist the needy people and equip them to protect themselves and families.
The participants were asked to identify their expectation and the facilitator compared the participant’s expectation from the training and the training objective and setting ground roles, training timetable was reviewed using pre-training objective and setting ground roles. The facilitators indentified the strength and weaknesses of the participants on AWD/Cholera case management knowledge.
1.3. Specific objectives;

Overall Objective
To conduct AWD/Cholera response trainings targeting Baidoa ORP/CHWs staff, to strengthen the quality and Mobile Health Team reach of the ongoing response by Participants get essential knowledge and skills of AWD/cholera case management, communications and prevention response as Mobile and Health facilities.
Specific Objectives
- To manage, prevent and treat AWD cases earlier in the facility and Health mobile outreach
