DMO integrated Health and Nutrition Team provide lifesaving health services in famine-affected IDPs and Host Community in South West State Somalia supported by UNICEF SOMALIA
The Mobile Team conducting daily Mobile health activities in both IDPs and Host community DMO health professional staff Nurses, Drs and midwives with community Health works visit daily base in the IDPs and fixed Health centers Conduct Mobile Health Serves Consultations through
- Providing vaccinations of all children under children
- Providing ANC/PNC consultations with good referral mechanisms during the activities DMO Integrated Health and Nutrition Mobile Team Reached (700 ) mothers both New and Revisit
- Screened for under five children both with medical complications and Non complications through following integrated Health and Nutrition protocol To reduce mortality and morbidity associated with the major causes of diseases in children such as pneumonia, diarrhea, dengue fever, malaria, measles, Kala.azar and During the consultations Reached (452) cases
- Provided AWD/Cholera case Managements and deployed Trained ORPs
