DMO TSFP and BSFP

This Programme is supported by WFP/WVI  as itisImplemented by DMO TSFP and BSFP site,         As usually DMO  assists  the vulnerable groups  with the support for WFP/WVI.                          Horseed MCH is one of the fixed food distribution point (FDP) which is integrated to the other nutrition and health projects.                                                                                                                        In supplementary feeding program are two types: Targeted supplementary feeding programme and Blanket supplementary feeding programme                                                                                                                    This  Blanket supplementary feeding programme  is addressed  to  particular groups , like children under two years of age those  are vulnerable groups to the community, the aim was to prevent of  the development  of moderate acute  malnutrition.                                                                                                                                        This project is running 9 food distribution points (FDPs), which is integrated to OTP, TSFP and SC through referrals to those identified SAM after muac screening.                                                          Finally, the CNWs and nutrition staff working this project perform scoop biometric to every beneficiaries benefiting this project, also they conduct daily screening, mass screening to the surrounding IDPs and distribution four days per Month at each FDP, two days for TSFP and 2 days for BSFP
