This Program me is supported by WFP/WVI and Implemented by DMoTSFP and BSFP site
DMO is normally standing to help its community with the support for WFP/WVI Holwadaag is one of food distribution point (FDP) Howlwadag is one of the sections in baidoa town most of the beneficiaries are IDPs and host community , DMO provides support for TSFP/BSFP targeted and blanket currently the photos are TSFP supports under five children with SAM complication all children admitted this program will unroll 4 months before discharge the program.
DMO nutrition teamconduct Mass screening and distribution four days per Month each FDP two days for TSFP and 2 days for BSFP also community nutrition workers (CNWs) conduct dialy MUAC screening to identify the malnutrition children and PLWs (pregnant and lactating mothers ) to admit the program as well as to mobilize the community the status of their children this makes easier to understand the role of the CNWs.
The project is integrated as the CNWs refer the severe children to the OTP where MAM children treated so there is integrated the SAM and MAM components this makes more easy to unroll lot of SAM children to the OTP (out patients therapeutic)
