DMO is implementing nutrition services namely: SFP (TSFP and BSFP) those supported by World vision International l(WVI)/WFP interms of funding for This project. Besides this project DMO also running OTP services which is funded by UNICEF to integrate the TSFP and BSFP. All the activities for the project were implemented and supported for nine (9) nutrition sites in Baidoa district in different locations. Mean while this project is targeted for prevention at risk groups, treatment for those under five children aged 6-59 months and Pregnant and lactating women (PLW) with moderately acute malnutrition (MAM) as well as supplementation and prevention for those at risk groups aged less than two years (BSFP). During March 2019, a total of 325 TSFP beneficiaries were screened in Idaale 1 IDP site of which 200 were old cases for under five children and 36 PLW, while 72 under five children with moderately malnourished and 17 PLW were admitted as a new admission.
