GENERAL UPDATE
- In response to the drought and subsequent health crisis, the SWS ministry of health(MoH) and Deeg-Roor Medical Organization (DMO) had arranged an emergency six mobile clinics teams with the support from UNICEF/MoH. The vast majority being women especially lactating women and single household women; children less than five (5) years of age and elderly people in Baidoa IDP camps with a total of 60-IDPs and the targeted projection is 12,285HH
- DMO Office distribution and deploying mobile clinic plan had been scheduled to start as from 1rd Aug 2018 up to APRIL 31st 2019.This target vulnerable elderly people(with more emphasis on women and Children) as identified in coordination with the health partners.
- OUTCOME
- Most of the communities really appreciate the UNICEF/DMO/MoH activities
- Community leaders and health facility staffs understands their roles in community mobilization and sensitization support/participation
