Summary Supplementary Feeding Programme Report for August 2019 (Towfiiq and Darusalam MCH) Dmo is running for Supplementary feeding programme (SFP) which is divided in to Targeted Supplementary Feeding Programme(TSFP) and Blanket supplementary feeding Programme (BSFP) of Baidoa district in 9 TSFP-BSFP sites of which four community facilities and five outreach which supported by interms of funding with WVI/WFP. The main objectives of this programme was to prevent individually that are at risk group of malnutrition and those of moderately malnourished from becoming severely malnourished as well as treatment of those with moderately malnourished. During August 2019 a total of 1,454(754 girls and 700 boys) under five children were screened of whom old and new cases, out of these 265 under five children of moderate acute malnutrition were admitted as new cases for both Towfiiq and Darusalam MCHs, while the total of 769 old and new cases distributed with plumpy supp equivalent 2.156 Mt for Towfiiq and Darusalaam MCHs.Mean while, atotal of 2,571 under two years were distributed plumpy dozz equivalent 3.774 Mt of the following sites Towfiiq and DarusalamDMO also screened for atotal of 397PLWs, out of 28 were admitted as new cases and while 194 old plus new cases distributed with CSB equivalent 1.455 Mt.
